Colourstrings is an internationally recognized music education program from Europe and we are the first to offer it in Canada!
Classes are designed for children three months and up and is the ONLY music program that can take a child from the earliest music experiences all the way through to instrumental study.

Why is it called Colourstrings?
Colourstrings started over forty years ago as an approach to teaching stringed instruments, namely violin and cello (hence the name) and evolved to form the preschool music program and offer different instruments. Children do not have to choose to learn a string instrument.
Music and Movement for children 3 months to 6 years
Sing, play instruments, dance and pretend! Through playful and imaginative games, children develop core music skills and by age 5 years all children can read and write basic music.
Lessons naturally progress from our preschool music classes. Many familiar songs reappear in the instrumental books. Coloured notation simplifies early music reading whilst an overall sense of play engages the children into highly focused studies.
